Parks and Recreation 5-Year Plan Survey

Existing Parks Recreation Areas 5.3.19_001

The City of Rochester is currently updating our Parks and Recreation Master Plan, with assistance of our consultant, McKenna. This plan helps guide parks and recreation prioritization and will span a five-year period – 2019 to 2023.  The Parks and Recreation Master Plan is also used as a basis for applying for grants and other funding for parks and recreation projects.

As a part of the preparation of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan, the City will be issuing a survey to accurately incorporate user experiences and opinions regarding the programs, services, and facilities that the City of Rochester offers. Your participation is crucial to helping the City of Rochester make the best choices in Parks and Recreation.

A unique access code is located near the address line on page 6 of the Summer 2019 newsletter and is needed to complete the survey. The survey will take roughly 10 minutes to complete and will close on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at midnight.

To access the electronic survey, please click here. Additional instructions are posted on this page.

For those without Internet access, a hard copy of the survey can be picked up at City Hall or click here to download. Please drop-off completed surveys at City Hall, 400 6th Street. The one (1) household access code will need to be written on the PDF, so it can be tabulated with the other surveys.

Thank you for your participation!

The below photo highlights where the unique code can be found on your newsletter. The below code is for reference only and cannot be used to take the survey. Participants must use the unique code located on the newsletter that was shipped to their address.
