Public Works crews will be finishing leaf pick up leaves at the curb later this week. Please assemble your final leaves in piles along the curb, in the street. The leaf piles should be raked away from the storm catch basins to avoid flooding.
You can track the progress of the our leaf pick-up crews to know when they will be in your neighborhood through our map at www.rochestermi.org/508/leaf-collection. This map is updated frequently and will indicate what area the crews are currently working on and what area will be next. (Please note this is the last pass through of all of the zones within the entire City. Once your zone is completed, leaves will need to be bagged and either placed on the curb or dropped off at Public Works.) Please note that mulched leaves, grass clippings, pet waste, municipal waste and tree limbs are strictly prohibited. If you have any questions please contact the Department of Public Works at (248) 651-5165.
Next week the crews will be out for branch pick-up.
