Normal household trash removal is completed by Rizzo Services LLC. They are responsible for yard waste during the months of April through November.

Items must be at the curb by 7:00 am on the day of pickup. If you are unsure which pickup day you have, please stop by City Hall or call at (248) 651-9061.

If your regular trash pick-up day falls on one of the following holidays, your trash will be picked up on the next regular business day:

• New Year's Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day

Recycling is mandatory in the City of Rochester and items are to be placed in the recycle containers provided by the City. If you are in need of a recycle bin, or if you have any questions about recycling materials, stop by City Hall or call at (248) 651-9061.

If you would like to purchase a larger recyling bin please visit City Hall or fill out and return the Recyling Container Order Form. The City has 35 gallon and 65 gallon recyling bins avaliable for purchase.
